This two-year diploma program in accounting will introduce you to the accounting practices, related technology applications, business fundamentals and the soft skills needed to find employment. You will learn how to use computer applications like Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Access relational database management software.
As a student of this program and upon completion of five bridging courses, you will be eligible to directly enter Seneca.
As a graduate of this program, you may pursue future career options, such as:

Throughout this program you will develop the following skills:

Professional Certification
As a student of this program, if you have met the minimum grade requirements:
- You will have completed nine of ten program and technical prerequisite courses required to be eligible for CPA Canada’s Advanced Certificate in Accounting and Finance (ACAF).
- You can pursue the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation and may consider a transfer into Seneca’s Bachelor of Commerce – International Accounting and Finance program.
Courses within the School of Accounting and Financial Services remain current for 10 years according to CPA policy. Any credits completed more than 10 years prior to an application for transfer credit or equivalency will not be considered. More information is available on the Life of a Credit web page.
