The Georges Haroutiun Scholarships are so named after their founder, a notable graphic designer who launched Applied Arts in 1986 as a way to connect with industry professionals and celebrate Canadian creativity, both established and emerging. This new scholarship is presented in recognition of Georges Haroutiun’s contributions to the design industry, his legacy and his mentorship of students.
The scholarship is awarded to a post-secondary creative arts student in each of the following streams:
- Advertising
- Design
- Image
Eligibility: Students must complete an assignment and meet the conditions of eligibility. Only digital submissions will be accepted.
