Competition: Hope for Youth for Japanese Citizens
October 7, 2011 – The Hope for Youth initiative was launched this summer by the Canadian Embassy in Japan and its partners following the tragic events of March 11, 2011 that devastated the country. This scholarship provides opportunities to 150 young Japanese, between the ages of 15 and 30 who were affected by the disaster, for a fully paid language training course in one of Canada’s eligible language schools, medical insurance, round-trip fare, and, in most cases, accommodation. The next application deadlines are December 31, 2011 and March 31, 2012.
