The Adrian Campbell Scholarship Fund was established as a tribute to Adrian’s many accomplishments in his too brief life. The Fund supports young athletes in individualized endurance sports who are also beginning their post- secondary education. Adrian was a great proponent of fitness and encouraged and helped many others to follow his path. He would be honoured to know that he was helping young athletes with the additional financial costs associated with simultaneously pursuing their sport and education.
The Adrian Campbell Scholarship Fund Association was established on March 1, 2011. The Scholarship Fund was designated a Charitable Organization on July 30, 2012, and duly accredited for Income Tax purposes. The Fund supports itself through generous contributions, an annual cycling event, and the efforts of many people.
The Adrian Campbell Scholarship Fund honours the memory of Adrian by the awarding of a scholarship to a Grade 12 student who is competitive in an individualized endurance sport, and who embodies the qualities admired and emulated by Adrian.
Application to the Adrian Campbell Scholarship Fund Association is open to any Nova Scotian student completing Grade 12 and entering a post -secondary educational program. Preference will be given to a student from Hants or Kings County.
